In response to a recent Calgary Herald article, “Big Box Social Engineering in Calgary”, one of our residents posted an interesting blog comparing our community of Tuscany to the Vancouver community of Hastings Sunrise. The results might surprise you. What do you think?

Fabulously written article about social engineering! As soon as I can afford it, I am getting out of Tuscany. Cars speed about 10-25km+ on my street, Tuscany Way. There are no interesting restaurants, bookstores, corner stores, florists, shoestores, coffee shops, etc. Everywhere I go is by car. We don’t even have a place of worship in Tuscany. I grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, and this is much, much worse. The nearest fitness centre is a car drive, the nearest pool is overcrowded. Great neighbours, but that’s it. It’s like living in a cultural wasteland.
