Tuscany Community, Come Grow With Us!

It’s that time of year to start daydreaming of springtime and getting outdoors! The Tuscany Community Garden is entering its fourth season and will be opening registration for its 38 garden plots from April 1 to 22nd. It’s pretty straightforward—all that is required is that you purchase/renew your Tuscany Community Association Membership, register online for a garden plot, and submit a rental fee of $35.00. Everything can be completed online at  We also appreciate it if gardeners can spend a few hours of volunteering over the course of the season to help with weeding and watering of the flower beds and trees.  It’s a great opportunity to grow local in a pesticide-free environment, meet your neighbours, and teach your kids where food really comes from! Community Response to Proposed Rogers Cellular Tower in Tuscany

This concern was raised in various communications to city officials. The TCA is committed to working with Rogers and the City to find a location for the tower that minimizes adverse impacts to the community and the 12-Mile Coulee. Additionally, a group of Tuscany residents organized to speak out against the proposed development as it was presented by Rogers to the community.  With the support of over 400 members of the community, they drafted the following letters: Letter to the City of Calgary (click here to download) Letter to Rogers Wireless (click […]
