It’s that time of year to start daydreaming of springtime and getting outdoors! The Tuscany Community Garden is entering its fourth season and will be opening registration for its 38 garden plots from April 1 to 22nd. It’s pretty straightforward—all that is required is that you purchase/renew your Tuscany Community Association Membership, register online for a garden plot, and submit a rental fee of $35.00. Everything can be completed online at TuscanyCA.org/membership. We also appreciate it if gardeners can spend a few hours of volunteering over the course of the season to help with weeding and watering of the flower beds and trees. It’s a great opportunity to grow local in a pesticide-free environment, meet your neighbours, and teach your kids where food really comes from! For more information go to tuscanygarden.wordpress.com.

The following letter was sent to the City regarding the TCA’s position regarding the proposed Rogers cell tower. Although not expressly stated in the letter, one of the board’s main concerns was the proximity of the proposed tower to the Villa D’este condominiums.
