Nose Hill Drive to 87 St NW and Bearspaw Dam Road NW The TCA along with neighbouring communities advocated for a review of this intersection as it is the main route to school for students to Bowness High School and is currently overcapacity causing safety issues. Status: The left turn signal for westbound traffic on Nose Hill Drive turning to 87 St SW has been installed. The intersection of 87 St NW and Bearspaw Dam Road NW has been approved for the development of a concept design for a traffic circle. Timing update TBD. To Calgary City Council: The Tuscany Community Association welcomes this opportunity to provide feedback on the proposal to rezone most of the residential lots in our community from R-1 to R-CG. We do not believe that it is appropriate to recommend how we would like Council to vote, but would like them to be aware of the following concerns that we have heard from residents on this issue. First, we believe in the fundamental principle that everyone who lives in our city, whether by choice or by circumstance, has a home. We cannot reach our full potential as a community unless everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive and access to stable shelter is a key component in being able to do that. Make sure you know your schedule and sign up for free reminders by visiting calgary.ca/collection. If you normally put your blue, green or black carts out on Wednesday, put your cart(s) out two days earlier on the Monday. Christmas Day (Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019) pick up will move to Monday, Dec. 23, 2019. New Year’s Day (Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020) pick up will move to Monday, Dec. 30, 2019.
