Tuscany LRT Public Art Celebration!
The City of Calgary is pleased to host a community celebration of roger that – a new large-scale public artwork at the Tuscany LRT station, created by Canadian artist Bill Pechet. Bring the family. Bring a friend. Bring a neighbour you’ve yet to meet. Calgarians will delight in live local music, light refreshments and interactive art activities lead by mentee artists who were inspired by Bill Pechet’s creation. GO collaborative, the Community and Cultural Development artists for the Tuscany LRT project will also be present conducting community engagement for their upcoming project. roger that is a permanent public artwork comprised of two, 12 metre-high sculptures, situated on either side of Crowchild Trail. Like neighbours talking over a fence, the piece connects the communities of Tuscany on one side and Rocky Ridge and Royal Oak on the other.
